In early June Madeline, Anna and Shelley attended the Peanut Butter and Puccini production at the Des Moines Metro Opera in Indianola with Grandma Fritz. Shelley said that the girls' curiosity quickly turned into amazement when people began singing. They also were given a detailed and fun backstage tour with a lot of info about what goes into producing and opera event. Shelley decided to pass on the peanut butter sack lunch that was included.
